2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your induction cooktop:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Placement: Place the induction cooktop on a dry, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, maintaining at least 10 cm clearance from walls and other appliances.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the appliance.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the glass surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Crompton Instaserve Induction Cooktop features intuitive feather touch controls and pre-set menus for ease of use.

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Place an induction-compatible utensil containing food or liquid on the center of the glass surface. Press the Power button. The LED display will illuminate.
  2. Select Mode: You can either select a pre-set cooking menu or manually adjust the power/temperature.
  3. Adjust Settings: Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the power level or temperature.
  4. Power Off: Press the Power button again to turn off the cooktop. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool down the internal components.

5.3 Timer Function

To set the timer:

  1. While cooking, press the Timer button.
  2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the desired cooking time (up to 3 hours).
  3. The cooktop will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

5.4 Child Lock

To activate the child lock, press and hold the Child Lock button for a few seconds. This will disable all other buttons to prevent accidental changes. Repeat the action to deactivate the child lock.

  • Storage: If storing the cooktop for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
  • Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the cooktop in water or any other liquid.
