Introduction

The IMIPAW Automatic Cat Feeder is designed to provide a convenient and reliable feeding solution for your cats and small dogs. Setup

1. Unboxing and Assembly

1. Turn counter clockwise to remove the cover.
2. Take out the inside accessories.
3. Fill the feed bowl from the below.
4. Put in the pet food.
5. Turn clockwise to close the lid.
6. Plug in the power supply to set use.

2. Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply for uninterrupted operation:

• 5V DC Adapter: Connect the provided adapter to a power outlet.
• 3 x Alkaline D-cell Batteries: (NOT INCLUDED) Install 3 D-cell batteries for backup power in case of power outages. This ensures continuous food supply for your pet.

3. Filling the Feeder

The 3L (12 cup) food storage capacity is suitable for most pets for several days. Ensure the food is dry kibble with a size between 2-10mm to prevent clogging.

4. Safety Locking Lid

The secure lid lock design prevents pets from accessing and overeating food directly from the storage tank.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Feeding Schedule

The 12-hour clock is easy to program. You can set up to 6 meals per day and up to 20 servings per meal. Each serving is approximately 7-9 grams.

• Press and hold the 'SET' button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode.
• Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons to adjust the time and meal settings.
• Press 'SET' briefly to confirm settings and move to the next step.

2. Manual Dispensing

To manually dispense one portion of food, press both the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons simultaneously.

3. Portion Control

The feeder allows precise portion control from 1 to 20 portions per meal. One portion is approximately 1 tablespoon (10.4ml). Refer to the recommended daily feeding portions table for guidance based on your pet's needs.

4. Comfortable Eating Angle

The feeder features a friendly tilt angle to provide a more comfortable eating position for your pet, reducing neck strain.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

The cat food tray is removable for easy cleaning. Hand wash only. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly to prevent food spoilage or feeder malfunction.

2. Anti-Clogging Design

The feeder is designed with a proper angle to prevent food from accumulating in the food outlet. Use dry food sizes between 2-10mm to ensure smooth operation and prevent clogging.

Troubleshooting

• Food Not Dispensing:
  • Check if the food tank is empty.
  • Ensure the kibble size is within the recommended 2-10mm range. Larger kibble can cause blockages.
  • Verify power supply (AC adapter or D-cell batteries).
  • Press the 'UP' button for 6 seconds to restore factory settings, then reprogram.
• Time Drift:
  • If the feeder's internal clock drifts over time, reset the current time of the device by pressing and holding the 'SET' button for 3 seconds.
• Feeder Tipping Over:
  • The feeder can be top-heavy when full. Place it in a stable location or against a wall to prevent pets from tipping it over.
• Pets Accessing Food Directly:
  • Ensure the safety locking lid is securely closed.
  • The anti-clog design helps prevent pets from reaching into the dispenser.
