Setup

1. Attaching the Casters and Wheels

The DEWALT DXV16P-QTA vacuum is designed for easy mobility. Attach the casters and large rear wheels to the base of the vacuum for stability and ease of movement.

2. Filter Installation

  2. For dry vacuuming, install the washable cartridge filter over the filter cage. Secure it by twisting the cap clockwise.
  3. For wet vacuuming, remove the cartridge filter and install the foam filter over the filter cage.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

The vacuum features a large waterproof switch for easy operation. To power on, flip the switch to the "ON" position. To power off, flip the switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Wet Vacuuming

Maintenance

1. Emptying the Tank

To empty the tank, unlatch the side clips and lift off the power head. For dry debris, you can use the disposable dust bag for easy removal. For liquids, utilize the drain port at the bottom of the tank for convenient emptying.
