Common DIP switch functions include:
- Switches (1) to (3): Modify common functions of the Convertible series.
- Switches (4) and (5): Adjust Fn key layout patterns (4 options).
- Switch (6): Activates a simple Mac mode function.
- Switch (7): Disables power saving mode.
Mac Mode Functionality
When DIP switch (6) is set to ON, the keyboard enters a simple Mac mode. Key functions such as Command and Option will be remapped to align with macOS layouts. The pre-engraved functions on the front of the keycaps indicate their Mac mode behavior.
Power Saving Mode
The keyboard features a power saving mode to conserve battery life during wireless use. If the keyboard is inactive for a period, it will enter a low-power state. To disable this feature, set DIP switch (7) to ON.
USB Through-Port Usage
When the keyboard is connected via USB-C, the integrated USB-A port can be used to connect other low-power USB devices, such as a mouse or a USB flash drive.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, disconnect it from all power sources. Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard. For cleaning between keycaps, use compressed air to remove dust and debris.
Keycap Removal
The included key puller can be used to safely remove keycaps for thorough cleaning or replacement. Gently place the key puller over the keycap, ensuring both sides clip onto the keycap. Pull straight up to remove. When replacing, align the keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding (Wired): Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
- Keyboard not responding (Bluetooth): Check if the keyboard has sufficient battery power. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Re-attempt pairing if the connection is lost. Make sure the correct Bluetooth channel (1-4) is selected.
- Bluetooth pairing issues: Ensure the keyboard is in rapid-blinking pairing mode. Remove any previous pairings of the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
- Keys not registering: Check for any debris under the keycap. If a specific key is not working, try removing and re-seating its keycap.
- No indicator light for Caps Lock in wireless mode: This is a known characteristic of the design. The Caps Lock indicator light may not function in wireless mode.
