Setup and Installation

  1. Connect Hoses: Attach the included 6 ft suction hose to the inlet port of the pump. Connect a standard 3/4 inch garden hose (not included) to the discharge port. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  2. Position the Pump: Place the pump on a stable, dry surface near the water source. Ensure the pump motor remains dry during operation.
  3. Install Suction Strainer: For optimal low suction performance, attach the included water suction attachment (strainer) to the end of the suction hose that will be submerged in the water. This allows the pump to remove water down to 1/8 inch of the surface.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the pump's power cord into a properly grounded 115V/60HZ electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Priming the Pump: Before starting, ensure the pump is primed. This typically involves filling the suction hose and pump housing with water to remove air.
  2. Start Operation: Once hoses are connected and the pump is primed, flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The pump will begin transferring water.
  3. Low Suction Function: When using the water suction attachment, the pump can effectively remove water down to 1/8 inch from the surface, making it ideal for draining shallow areas.
  4. Stop Operation: To stop the pump, flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
