Important Safety Instructions
Please read this manual carefully before operating your Lienuis Dehumidifier. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Ensure the dehumidifier is kept in an upright position for at least 24 hours before its first use. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
- Always place the unit on a solid, level surface for stable operation.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 12 inches (30 cm) between the unit and any walls or furniture to ensure proper airflow.
- Do not block the air inlet or outlet.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug.
- Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Product Overview
The Lienuis Dehumidifier is designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from your home, basements, large rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms, covering areas up to 2000 sq. ft. It features intelligent controls, multiple drainage options, and portability for ease of use.

Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Positioning: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of clear space around all sides of the unit for optimal air circulation.

- Initial Standby: After unpacking, keep the dehumidifier upright for a minimum of 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to stabilize, preventing potential damage to the compressor.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V, 60Hz electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview
The intelligent control panel provides easy access to all functions of your dehumidifier.

- Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycle through different dehumidification modes: Auto Mode, Continuous Drying Mode, and Sleep Mode.
- RH Set Button: Adjust the desired humidity level from 30% to 80% in 5% increments.
- Timer Button: Set the 12-hour timer for delayed start or stop operation.
- Speed Button: Select fan speed between High and Medium.
- Child Lock Button: Press and hold to activate/deactivate the child lock, preventing unintentional changes to settings.
Intelligent RH Display
The unit features an intelligent RH display that indicates the current environmental humidity using color-coded lights:

- Blue Light: Humidity is below 45%.
- Green Light: Humidity is between 45% and 65%.
- Red Light: Humidity is above 65%.
Drainage Options
Your Lienuis Dehumidifier offers two convenient drainage methods:
- Manual Drainage (Water Tank):
The unit collects water in a 0.53 Gallon (2L) water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and emit a beep (5-8 seconds) to alert you. The "Full Tank" indicator light will illuminate. Empty the tank by carefully pulling it out, discarding the water, and reinserting it securely until it clicks into place.
- Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose):
For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, attach the included 3.4-foot drain hose to the continuous drainage outlet on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink, or bucket) ensuring it is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage. This option is ideal for prolonged use in basements or laundry rooms.
Additional Features
- Auto Defrost: If the ambient temperature drops too low (below 41°F / 5°C), the unit will automatically initiate an auto-defrost cycle to prevent ice buildup on the coils, ensuring efficient operation.
- Memory Function: In case of a power outage, the unit will retain your last settings and resume operation automatically once power is restored.
- Adjustable Wind Direction: The unit features a 0-90° forward and reverse wind direction manual adjustment baffle, allowing you to direct the airflow as needed and keep dust out when closed.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient performance of your dehumidifier.
Cleaning the Air Filter
The washable air filter should be cleaned regularly (approximately every two weeks, or more often depending on usage and air quality) to maintain optimal performance.
- Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter, typically at the back or side of the unit. Refer to Figure 2 for filter location.
- Gently pull out the filter.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
- Reinsert the dry filter back into its slot.
Cleaning the Water Tank
Clean the water tank periodically to prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Remove the water tank from the unit.
- Wash the tank with mild detergent and warm water.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry before placing it back into the dehumidifier.
External Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents.
