1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing HYIEAR Wireless Earbuds. These earbuds are designed to provide a superior audio experience with advanced features such as Bluetooth V5.3 for stable connectivity, an impressive 40 hours of total playtime with the charging case, and an intuitive LED display. They are also IPX5 waterproof, making them suitable for various activities. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance of your new earbuds.

3. Product Overview

The HYIEAR Wireless Earbuds feature a sleek design with an integrated LED display on the charging case, showing the battery levels of both the case and individual earbuds. The earbuds are lightweight and ergonomically designed for comfortable, secure fit.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case. The case can be charged via the included USB Type-C cable or wirelessly using a compatible wireless charging pad (not included). The LED display will show the charging progress.

• USB-C Charging: Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and plug the other end into a USB power source. The case fully charges in approximately 1 hour.
• Wireless Charging: Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad. Ensure the LED display is facing up for optimal charging.

4.2 Pairing with Your Device

The earbuds utilize advanced Bluetooth 5.3 technology for instant pairing and stable transmission. They will automatically connect to the last paired device.

1. Initial Pairing: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices and select "S42" from the list.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.

5. Operating Instructions

6. Maintenance

6.1 Waterproofing (IPX5)

The earbuds are IPX5 waterproof, meaning they are protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain. However, they are not designed for submersion in water (e.g., swimming or showering).

6.2 Cleaning and Storage

• Regularly clean the ear tips and charging contacts with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Pairing Issues

• Earbuds not pairing with device: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Turn off and on the earbuds by placing them back in the case and taking them out. Forget "S42" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
• Only one earbud working: Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and then open it again. This should reset them and re-establish the connection between both earbuds.

7.2 Sound Issues

• Low volume: Increase the volume on both your device and the earbuds using the touch controls.
• Distorted sound: Ensure the earbuds are within Bluetooth range of your device. Check for any obstructions between the device and earbuds.

7.3 Charging Issues

• Earbuds not charging in case: Ensure the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case are clean and free of debris. Make sure the case itself is charged.
• Case not charging: Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter. Ensure the wireless charging pad is compatible and properly aligned if using wireless charging.
