4. Setup Guide

  1. Connect Power: Connect a USB-C power adapter (up to 100W, Steam Deck max 45W) to the PD-in port on the dock.
  2. Connect to Display: Use an HDMI 2.0 cable to connect the dock's HDMI port to your TV, monitor, or projector. Ensure your display supports 4K@60Hz for optimal performance.
  3. Connect to Network (Optional): For a stable internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the 1000Mbps Ethernet port on the dock.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Display Output (HDMI)

Once connected, your Steam Deck's display should automatically extend or mirror to the external monitor. The dock supports HDMI 2.0, providing 4K resolution at 60Hz for a clear and fluid visual experience. Adjust display settings on your Steam Deck if necessary.

5.2 Data Transfer (USB 3.0 & Card Reader)

The two USB 3.0 ports allow for high-speed data transfer with external storage devices or connection of various peripherals. The SD/TF card reader supports fast reading and writing of memory cards. Note: Due to Steam OS limitations, games installed on a microSD card via the Steam Deck's internal slot may not be recognized when the same card is inserted into the dock's card reader, and vice-versa. It is recommended to install games directly to the storage medium you intend to use for playing (either internal or via the dock).

5.3 Network Connection (Ethernet)

The 1000Mbps Ethernet port provides a more reliable and faster internet connection compared to Wi-Fi, which is beneficial for online gaming and large downloads.
