1. Product Overview

The G.K KZ AZ15 Wireless Earhooks transform your wired 0.75mm 2-pin in-ear monitors (IEMs) into wireless Bluetooth earbuds. Equipped with a Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.2 chip, it supports APTX, AAC, and SBC audio codecs for high-quality sound transmission. The device features a large capacity charging case and multiple sound modes to suit various listening scenarios.

Upon opening the package, ensure all the following items are present:

3. Setup and Charging

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the KZ AZ15 earhooks and their charging case. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the case and to a compatible USB power source. The LED indicator on the charging case will show charging status.

• The charging case is equipped with an 800mAh lithium battery.
• Earhooks provide up to 8 hours of continuous playback on a full charge.
• The charging case can recharge the earhooks approximately 9 times, providing a total battery life of up to 54 hours.

3.2 Attaching Earbuds

The AZ15 earhooks are designed for 0.75mm 2-pin detachable earbuds. Carefully align the 2-pin connectors of your earbuds with the sockets on the earhooks and push them firmly until they are securely attached. Ensure correct left (L) and right (R) orientation.

3.3 Pairing with a Device

The KZ AZ15 earhooks automatically enter pairing mode when the charging case lid is opened. They will automatically connect to the last paired device if available.

1. Open the charging case lid. The earhooks will power on and enter pairing mode (indicated by flashing LED lights).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for "KZ AZ15" in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to connect.
4. Once connected, the LED indicators on the earhooks will stop flashing.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case lid, or press and hold the multi-function button on each earhook for approximately 6 seconds.
• Power Off: Place the earhooks back into the charging case and close the lid, or press and hold the multi-function button on each earhook for approximately 6 seconds. Note: Turning one earhook off will turn both off.

4.2 Music and Call Controls

The KZ AZ15 features a single multi-function button on each earhook for easy control:

• Play/Pause: Click once on either earhook.
• Next Song: Double-click on the right earhook.
• Previous Song: Double-click on the left earhook.
• Answer/End Call: Click once on either earhook.
• Reject Call: Long press on either earhook for 2 seconds.
• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri): Long press on either earhook for 2 seconds (when not on a call).

4.3 Switching Sound Modes

The AZ15 offers three distinct sound modes: Standard Music, Game, and Full Power. These modes allow users to customize audio performance based on preference and activity.

• To switch modes: Click the left earhook three times.
• Standard Music Mode: Provides a transparent sound field, extended high-frequency range, and stable low-frequency effects for detailed music listening.
• Game Mode: Synchronized audio and video with low latency (as low as 40ms) for a smooth gaming experience.
• Full Power Mode: Maximizes audio output, ensuring a stable connection and enhanced bass effect.

4.4 Dual Host and Single Earbud Use

The earhooks support dual host functionality, allowing both left and right earbuds to be used independently. This enables flexible usage, such as using one earbud while the other charges, or sharing audio with another person.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the earhooks and charging case to maintain optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surfaces. For the earbud connectors and charging contacts, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.

5.2 Water and Sweat Resistance

The KZ AZ15 earhooks do not have an official IPX rating for water or sweat resistance. Avoid exposing the device to excessive moisture, rain, or heavy sweat to prevent damage. If used during light exercise, wipe them dry immediately after use.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Connection Issues

• Earhooks not pairing: Ensure the earhooks are fully charged and the charging case lid is open. Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth, then try re-pairing.
• Unstable connection: Move closer to your connected device. Ensure there are no major obstructions (like thick walls) between the earhooks and your device.

6.2 Audio Quality Issues

• Low volume: Ensure the earhooks are in 'Full Power Mode' (triple-click left earhook) for maximum output. Adjust volume on both your device and the earhooks.
• Poor sound: Ensure your earbuds are securely attached to the earhooks. Check for a proper seal in your ear canal.

6.3 Microphone Issues

The KZ AZ15 features an HD microphone with CVC technology for call noise reduction.

• Unclear calls: Ensure the microphone is not obstructed. Try using the earhooks in a quieter environment.
