4.1. Tail Light Installation

4.2. Remote Control Installation

1. Attach the remote control host to your bicycle's handlebar.
2. Install the remote control onto the host.
3. Tighten the mount securely. Position the remote control within easy reach of your thumb.

4.3. Seat Post Compatibility

The tail light bracket is designed for round seat posts with a diameter of 27-35 mm. It is not suitable for pannier racks, square seat posts, hexagonal seat posts, or aero seat posts.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Remote Control Functions

The remote control features the following buttons:

• Electric Bell Button (Horn): Press to sound the horn.
• Left Turn Light Button: Press to activate the left turn signal. It will flash with an audible click. Press again to turn off.
• Right Turn Light Button: Press to activate the right turn signal. It will flash with an audible click. Press again to turn off.
• Tail Light Button: Press to cycle through the 6 lighting modes (Slow Flash, Breathing, Fast Flash, Constant Light, Emergency Light, Off).
• Arm/Disarm Button (Lock/Unlock Icon): Press to arm or disarm the anti-theft alarm.

5.2. Tail Light Modes

Use the Tail Light Button on the remote to switch between the following modes:

1. Slow Flash: Gentle, slow blinking.
2. Breathing: Light fades in and out smoothly.
3. Fast Flash: Rapid blinking for high visibility.
4. Constant Light: Solid illumination.
5. Emergency Light: Distinctive flashing pattern for emergencies.

5.3. Turn Signals

To indicate a turn, press the corresponding Left or Right Turn Light button on the remote. The signal will flash with an audible click sound to alert you and others. Press the button again to deactivate the signal.

5.4. Automatic Brake Light

The integrated G-sensor detects when you slow down or brake. Upon detection, the tail light will automatically illuminate brighter for approximately 2 seconds to alert following traffic. This feature works in Slow Flash, Breathing, Fast Flash, and Constant Light modes.

5.5. Anti-Theft Alarm

To arm the alarm, press the Arm/Disarm button on the remote. The tail light will flash once to confirm it is armed. If the bicycle is moved or vibrated, the alarm will sound. To disarm the alarm, press the Arm/Disarm button again. The alarm has adjustable sensitivity levels (refer to troubleshooting for adjustment).

6. Charging

The JQTOP SF34R Smart Bike Tail Light is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. When the battery is low, the indicator light on the tail light will signal. To charge:

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the tail light.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the tail light and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
