Safety Information

  • Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.
  • Assemble the bed frame on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  • Tighten all bolts and screws securely. Periodically check and re-tighten fasteners to ensure stability.
  • Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
  • Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the bed frame (800 lbs for static load, 100 lbs for lifting mechanism).
  • Use caution when operating the hydraulic lift mechanism. Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts.

Please verify that all components listed below are included in your package. If any parts are missing, contact customer support.

  • Wooden Slats with Plastic Buckles

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. Two people are recommended for assembly.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface. Check against the package contents list.
  2. Assemble Headboard: Attach the wingback sections to the main headboard panel using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Connect Side Rails and Footboard: Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the designated bolts. Do not fully tighten yet.
  4. Install Metal Support Structure: Place the metal support frame within the bed frame. Secure it to the side rails and footboard as per the diagrams in your included paper manual. This structure provides robust support.
  5. Attach Hydraulic Lifting Mechanism: Carefully install the hydraulic lifting arms to the designated points on the metal frame and the bed base. Ensure they are correctly oriented and securely fastened.
  6. Insert Wooden Slats: Place the wooden slats into the designated slots on the metal frame. The plastic buckles will help secure them. Ensure slats are evenly spaced and fully seated. The solid wood slats are designed for smart assembly and provide direct mattress support, eliminating the need for a box spring.
  7. Install Anti-Falling Device: Attach the anti-falling device at the foot of the bed frame to prevent the mattress from sliding when the lift mechanism is engaged.
  8. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.
  9. Check Stability: Gently shake the assembled bed frame to ensure it is stable and all connections are secure.

Operating Instructions

This bed frame features a hydraulic lift mechanism for convenient under-bed storage access.

  1. Lifting the Platform: To access the storage space, grasp the handle or edge of the mattress platform (ensure the mattress is in place) and gently lift upwards. The hydraulic mechanism will assist in raising the platform smoothly and holding it in the open position.
  2. Accessing Storage: Once the platform is lifted, you can access the spacious storage area underneath. This space is suitable for items such as suitcases, storage bags, and seasonal bedding.
  3. Lowering the Platform: To close, gently pull the platform downwards. The hydraulic mechanism will control the descent, ensuring a slow and safe closing. Ensure no objects or body parts are in the path of the closing platform.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: For the upholstered fabric, gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically (every 3-6 months) check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if loose to maintain the bed frame's stability and integrity.
  • Hydraulic Mechanism: The hydraulic mechanism is designed for long-term use and generally requires no special maintenance. Avoid applying excessive force when lifting or lowering.

Troubleshooting

  • Squeaking Noises: If the bed frame develops squeaking noises, check all connections and tighten any loose bolts. Ensure the wooden slats are properly seated. The thick attached foams are designed to mute noises.
  • Difficulty Lifting/Lowering: Ensure the mattress is properly positioned and not obstructing the mechanism. Check that the hydraulic arms are correctly installed and free of obstructions. Do not exceed the 100 lbs lifting capacity.
  • Mattress Sliding: Verify that the anti-falling device is correctly installed at the foot of the bed.
  • Wobbling: Check all frame connections and ensure they are fully tightened. Ensure the bed is on a level surface.
