2. Product Features

4. Getting Started (Setup)

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the device, slide the 'ON' switch located on the side of the scanner. To power off, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

4.2 Charging

The scanner is equipped with a Lithium Polymer battery. Connect the provided USB cable to the scanner's charging port and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter) to charge.

4.3 Connection Modes

The Eyoyo EY-038 supports three primary connection methods:

  • Bluetooth Connection: Ideal for wireless use with smartphones, tablets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

5. Operating Modes

5.1 Scanning Modes

The scanner offers three distinct scanning modes to suit different operational needs:

  • Key Trigger Mode: Scan by pressing the trigger button.
  • Auto-sensing Mode: The scanner automatically reads barcodes when detected in its scanning field.
  • Continuous Mode: The scanner continuously emits a scan beam, reading any barcode it encounters.

5.2 Data Upload Modes

Choose how data is transferred to your device:

  • Instant Upload Mode: Barcode data is transmitted immediately to your connected device upon scanning.
  • Storage Mode: Barcode data is stored in the scanner's internal 16MB memory (up to 100,000 UPC barcodes) and can be uploaded later when within range of your device.

6.1 Display Screen Functions
