1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your YIOU Air Purifier P1802. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

• Always ensure the air purifier is unplugged before performing any maintenance or moving the unit.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
• Keep the air inlet and outlet clear of obstructions.
• Ensure the filter's plastic packaging is removed before first use. Operating with the plastic on the filter will prevent proper air purification and may damage the unit.
• Place the air purifier on a stable, level surface.

3.2 Control Panel and Indicators

• Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
• Fan Speed Button: Cycles through Low, Medium, High, and Auto fan speeds.
• Sleep Mode Button: Activates ultra-quiet operation (20dB).
• Timer Button: Sets the auto-off timer (1-7 hours).
• Child Lock Button: Locks the touch panel to prevent accidental changes.
• Display On/Off Button: Turns the display lights on or off.
• Filter Reset Button: Indicates when filter replacement is needed and resets the filter life counter.
• Air Quality Indicator: Changes color (Red/Yellow/Green) to reflect air quality (Poor/Good/Excellent).

3.3 3-Stage Filtration System

The YIOU Air Purifier P1802 utilizes a 3-stage filtration system to capture various airborne particles and odors:

1. Preliminary Filter: Captures large particles such as pet hair, lint, and dust.
2. H13 True HEPA Filter: Filters 99.97% of airborne contaminants 0.3 microns in size, including pollen, dust mites, and pet dander.
3. Activated Carbon Filter: Absorbs various household odors, including pet odors, cooking smells, and smoke.

4. Setup

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
2. Remove Filter Packaging: Open the front cover of the air purifier. The filter is pre-installed but wrapped in plastic. Remove the filter and discard the plastic packaging.

3. Install Filter: Reinsert the filter into the unit with the white HEPA side facing outwards (towards the front cover).

4. Close Cover: Securely close the front cover.
5. Placement: Place the air purifier in your desired location, ensuring adequate space around the air inlets and outlets for optimal airflow.
6. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power Button to turn the air purifier on or off.

5.2 Fan Speed Control

Press the Fan Speed Button to cycle through the following modes:

• Low: For quiet, continuous operation.
• Medium: For general air purification.
• High: For rapid air cleaning.
• Auto: The unit automatically adjusts fan speed based on detected air quality.

5.3 Sleep Mode

Press the Sleep Mode Button to activate ultra-quiet operation. The display lights will dim or turn off, and the fan speed will reduce to 20dB for undisturbed rest.

5.4 Timer Function

Press the Timer Button repeatedly to set the desired auto-off time (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 hours). The unit will automatically shut off after the selected duration.

5.5 Child Lock

Press and hold the Child Lock Button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock. This prevents accidental changes to settings.

5.6 Display On/Off

Press and hold the Display On/Off Button for 3 seconds to turn the control panel lights on or off. This is useful for bedrooms or dark environments.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Filter Replacement

The filter life depends on usage and air quality. When the Filter Reset Button illuminates, it's time to replace the filter.

1. Unplug the air purifier.
2. Open the front cover and remove the old filter.
3. Insert a new YIOU P1802 replacement filter (sold separately), ensuring the white HEPA side faces outwards.
4. Close the front cover.
5. Plug in the air purifier.
6. Press and hold the Filter Reset Button for 3 seconds until the light turns off, resetting the filter life counter.

6.2 Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
