2. Product Overview and Features

3. Setup

3.1. Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the anemometer from its packaging. Inspect the device for any signs of damage.

3.2. Package Contents

The package should contain the following items:

  • 1x Aicevoos H7 Digital Anemometer
  • 3x AAA Batteries (Note: Product specifications indicate batteries are not included, but feature bullets mention they are. Please verify upon receipt.)

3.3. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Use a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
  3. Insert three AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

  • To power on the device, press the red power button.
  • To power off, press and hold the red power button for a few seconds, or allow the device to automatically shut off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

4.2. Backlight Control

  • Press the light bulb icon button to turn the LCD backlight on or off.

4.3. Unit Selection

  • Press the UNIT button to cycle through different wind velocity units (m/s, km/h, ft/s, ft/m, Knots, mph).
  • To change temperature units (℃/℉), press the SET button.

4.4. Function Selection (FUNC Button)

The FUNC button allows you to switch between various display modes and functions. Refer to the on-screen indicators for the active mode.

4.5. Data Record (REC Button)

Use the REC button to record data. Specific recording functions (MAX, MIN, AVG) are typically accessed via this button in conjunction with other controls.

5. Measurement Modes

5.1. Wind Speed Measurement

Hold the anemometer so that the fan is exposed to the wind flow. The current wind speed will be displayed on the LCD screen in the selected unit.

5.2. Wind Power Level Measurement

The device can display the wind power level, typically ranging from 0-12, with an accuracy grade of ±1. This provides a qualitative assessment of wind intensity.

5.3. Temperature and Humidity Measurement

The H7 measures ambient temperature and relative humidity. Ensure the sensor is exposed to the environment you wish to measure.

5.4. Air Volume Measurement (CFM/CMM/CMS)

For air volume measurement, align the fan of the instrument vertically with the air outlet. The cross-sectional area of the air outlet must be input into the device (if applicable, refer to advanced settings in the full manual) before accurate air volume measurements in Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM), Cubic Meters per Minute (CMM), or Cubic Feet per Second (CMS) can be obtained.
