Setup Instructions
- Connect the Air Diffuser: Attach the EPDM rubber air diffuser to one end of the weighted airline. Secure it firmly using the provided hose clamp.
- Connect to the Pump: Connect the other end of the weighted airline to the air outlet on the pond air pump. Ensure a snug fit.
- Position the Diffuser: Carefully place the air diffuser at the desired location on the bottom of your pond. The weighted airline will help it sink and stay in place.
- Position the Pump: Place the air pump in a dry, protected area near the pond, ensuring it is above the water level to prevent back-siphoning.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable outdoor-rated electrical outlet.
- Adjust Airflow: Use the air flow regulator to control the amount of air released by the diffuser. Turn the valve to increase or decrease the airflow as needed for your pond size and conditions.

Operating Instructions
Pond Oxygenation
The aerator continuously supplies oxygen to your pond water, which is crucial for the health of fish and aquatic plants. Proper oxygen levels support biological processes, contributing to a stable and clear pond environment. Adjust the airflow regulator to achieve the desired bubble intensity.

Ice Prevention (Winter Operation)
During winter, the continuous movement of water created by the aerator helps disrupt ice formation on the pond surface. This creates a ventilation hole, allowing harmful gases to escape and ensuring your fish have access to oxygen. For optimal ice prevention, move the air diffuser to approximately half of your pond's maximum depth.

Maintenance
- Air Diffuser: The EPDM rubber air diffuser is designed to be anti-clogging and requires minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect it for any debris buildup and clean as necessary to ensure optimal air diffusion.
- Diaphragm Replacement: If the air pump experiences a significant reduction in performance or stops working, the diaphragm may need replacement. A diaphragm rebuild kit is available for this purpose, allowing you to restore the pump's functionality.
- General Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the air pump clean and free from dust and debris to ensure proper ventilation and prevent overheating.
Troubleshooting
- No Air Output:
- Check if the pump is properly plugged into a working power outlet.
- Ensure all hose connections are secure and not kinked or blocked.
- Inspect the air diffuser for severe clogging. Clean if necessary.
- If the pump runs but produces no air, the internal diaphragm may require replacement (refer to Maintenance section).
- Reduced Airflow:
- Verify the air flow regulator is fully open or set to the desired level.
- Check the air diffuser for partial clogging and clean it.
- Ensure the airline is not pinched or obstructed.
- Excessive Noise:
- Ensure the pump is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Check that the rubber feet are intact and providing vibration relief.
