Setup
Charging the Shaver
Before first use, fully charge your shaver. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour and provides up to 60 minutes of cordless shaving time. A 5-minute quick charge is sufficient for one shave.
- Connect the USB-A charging cable to the charging stand.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a compatible USB-A wall adapter (not included) or a powered USB-A port.
- Place the shaver onto the charging stand. The battery indicator lights on the shaver will illuminate to show charging progress.
- Once fully charged, the battery indicator will show a full charge.

Operating Instructions
Basic Shaving
The Philips Norelco Shaver 7800 can be used for both wet and dry shaving. For best results, ensure your skin is clean before shaving.
- Press the power button to turn on the shaver.
- For a dry shave, move the shaver in small circular motions over your skin.
- For a wet shave, apply shaving gel or foam to your skin before shaving. You can also use the shaver in the shower.
- Apply gentle pressure to ensure optimal contact with your skin. The SenseIQ technology will adapt the cutting power.
- After shaving, turn off the shaver.

Using the Pop-up Trimmer
The integrated pop-up trimmer is ideal for shaping your mustache and trimming sideburns.
- Locate the trimmer release button on the back of the shaver.
- Slide the button upwards to activate the pop-up trimmer.
- Use the trimmer to precisely shape and trim desired areas.
- When finished, push the trimmer back down until it clicks into place.

Maintenance
Cleaning with the Quick Clean Pod
The Quick Clean Pod provides a thorough and hygienic cleaning for your shaver, making it feel like new after every use.
- Ensure the Quick Clean Pod contains cleaning solution.
- Place the shaver head-down into the Quick Clean Pod.
- The shaver will automatically begin a 1-minute deep cleaning cycle.
- After the cycle, remove the shaver and allow it to air dry.

Manual Cleaning
For quick cleaning or when the Quick Clean Pod is not available, you can manually clean the shaver heads.
- Press the release button on the shaver head to open it.
- Rinse the shaver head thoroughly under warm running water.
- Shake off excess water and allow the shaver head to air dry before closing.
Troubleshooting
