Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the main components of your robot vacuum cleaner.

The robot features an iTech Laser Eye navigation system for precise mapping and route planning. It includes a central multi-function brush, side brushes, and a mixed tank for simultaneous vacuuming and mopping.

Setup

1. Charging Base Placement

• Place the charging base against a wall in an open area, ensuring at least 1 meter of clear space on both sides and 2 meters in front.
• Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a power outlet.

2. Initial Charging

Place the robot on the charging base. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the base. The indicator light will show charging status. Fully charge the robot before its first use, which may take several hours.

3. Brush Installation

• Side Brushes: Snap the left (L) and right (R) side brushes into their corresponding slots on the bottom of the robot.
• Multi-function Brush: Ensure the central multi-function brush is correctly installed in its compartment.

4. Water Tank and Mop Installation

• Open the mixed tank and fill the water compartment with clean water. For optimal mopping, a small amount of anti-limescale solution can be added to prevent blockages, especially in hard water areas.
• Attach a clean mop cloth to the bottom of the mixed tank.
• Insert the mixed tank back into the robot until it clicks into place.

5. App Connection

Download the Cecotec app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add your device. To put the robot in pairing mode, press and hold BOTH the power button and the home button simultaneously until the lights flash rapidly. This indicates it is ready to connect to your Wi-Fi network via the app.

Operating

1. Starting and Stopping Cleaning

• Press the power button on the robot or use the app to start a cleaning cycle.
• Press the power button again or use the app to pause or stop cleaning.

2. Cleaning Modes

The Conga 7490 Eternal X-Treme offers 8 cleaning modes, selectable via the app:

• Auto: General cleaning, adapting to the environment.
• Random: For quick cleaning in a specific area.
• Wash (Scrubbing): Focuses on mopping and scrubbing.
• Spiral: Cleans a concentrated area in a spiral pattern.
• Edges: Cleans along walls and furniture edges.
• Manual: Control the robot's movement manually via the app.

3. Suction and Water Flow Levels

Adjust suction power and water flow for mopping through the mobile application. There are 3 selectable levels for both, allowing customization for different floor types and cleaning needs. The robot features a turbo mode for carpets, automatically increasing suction.

4. Room Plan and Total Surface Technology

The iTech Laser Eye technology allows the robot to map your home and plan efficient cleaning routes. With Room Plan, you can define specific areas to clean or restrict. The Total Surface technology ensures the robot returns to its charging base when battery is low, recharges, and resumes cleaning from where it left off.

5. Scheduling and Virtual Assistants

Use the app to schedule cleaning times. The robot is compatible with virtual assistants like Alexa, allowing for voice control of cleaning tasks.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum cleaner.

1. Dust Bin and Filters

• Empty the dust bin after each use.
• Clean the filters regularly. Tap them gently to remove dust. Do not wash HEPA filters with water.

2. Multi-function Brush and Side Brushes

• Remove the multi-function brush and use the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris.
• Remove side brushes and clean any hair or debris wrapped around them. Replace worn brushes.

3. Water Tank and Mop Cloths

• Empty and rinse the water tank after each mopping session.
• Wash mop cloths regularly. They can be hand-washed or machine-washed.
• To prevent water dispensing issues, especially with hard water, periodically add a few drops of anti-limescale solution to the water tank when filling it.

4. Sensors and Charging Contacts

• Wipe the anti-drop sensors, proximity sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging base with a dry, soft cloth.
