Gas Connection

Connect the liquid propane (LP) cylinder to the grill's regulator. Ensure the connection is tight and free of leaks. Perform a leak test using a soapy water solution on all gas connections before initial use and after any cylinder change.

3. Operating Instructions

Pre-Operation Checklist

  • Ensure the LP cylinder is full and properly connected.
  • Check for any obstructions in the burner tubes.
  • Verify that all control knobs are in the OFF position.
  • Open the grill lid before lighting any burner.

Ignition Procedure

  1. Open the grill lid.
  2. Ensure all burner control knobs are in the OFF position.
  3. Turn on the gas supply at the LP cylinder.
  4. Push and turn one main burner control knob to the HIGH position.
  5. Immediately press and hold the Sure-Lite ignition button for 3-5 seconds until the burner ignites.
  6. If ignition does not occur within 5 seconds, turn the burner control knob to OFF, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the lighting procedure.
  7. Once the first burner is lit, you can light other main burners by turning their respective knobs to HIGH.

Main Burner Operation

The grill features a powerful 30,000 BTU main burner. Once lit, adjust the control knob to achieve the desired cooking temperature. The primary cooking surface is 300 sq. in., complemented by a 130 sq. in. chrome-coated warming rack, providing a total of 430 sq. in. cooking surface.

Side Burner Operation

The 10,000 BTU inset side burner is ideal for preparing sauces or side dishes. To light, open the side burner lid, push and turn the side burner control knob to HIGH, and press the ignition button. Adjust the flame as needed.

Cooking Tips

Preheat the grill for 10-15 minutes with the lid closed to reach optimal cooking temperature. Use the warming rack to keep cooked food warm or to gently toast buns. The cast aluminum oven design helps maintain consistent heat.

4. Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your grill and ensure optimal performance.

Cleaning the Cooking Grates

After each use, while the grill is still warm, brush the chrome-coated cooking grates with a grill brush to remove food residue. For stubborn residue, wash with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

Cleaning Burners

Periodically inspect the aluminized steel cooking system and burners for blockages (e.g., spider webs, food debris). Use a wire brush to clean the burner ports. Ensure the heat diffuser/flavorizer bars are clean to prevent flare-ups.

Exterior Cleaning

Clean the exterior surfaces with mild soap and water. The grill features a stylish black cart and weather-resistant sturdy side shelves. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
