4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and operation.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to a suitable 230 Volt, grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Granule Filling: Open the granule reservoir lid. Carefully pour the provided polishing granules into the reservoir. The machine typically requires 3-5 kg of granules. Ensure the granules are evenly distributed.
  5. Initial Check: Before first use, ensure all covers are securely closed and there are no loose parts.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Pre-cleaning Cutlery: Ensure all cutlery is thoroughly washed and rinsed before placing it into the polishing machine. Remove any food residue.
  2. Starting the Machine: Press the green "Start" button on the control panel. The operational indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will begin to warm up and circulate the granules.
  3. Loading Cutlery: Once the machine is running, carefully feed the pre-cleaned, wet cutlery into the input slot. Do not overload the machine. The machine can process up to 3000 pieces per hour.
  4. Polishing Process: The cutlery will tumble within the polishing chamber, interacting with the granules and warm air. The integrated 8-Watt UVC lamp will sterilize the cutlery and granules during this process.
  5. Retrieving Polished Cutlery: Polished and dried cutlery will exit the machine from the output chute. Collect the cutlery in a clean container.
  6. Stopping the Machine: To stop the machine, press the red "Stop" button on the control panel. The operational indicator light will turn off.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your GGM Gastro BPE3000N.

Daily Maintenance:

  • Cleaning Exterior: Wipe down the exterior stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Granule Check: Visually inspect the polishing granules. Remove any large debris or foreign objects.

Weekly/Bi-Weekly Maintenance:

  • Granule Replacement: Over time, granules may degrade or become less effective. Replace the polishing granules as needed, typically every few weeks depending on usage.
