4. Setup

4.1 Connecting the Number Pad

1. Locate the USB-C port on the Kisnt KN17 Number Pad.
2. Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the number pad.
3. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer (laptop or PC).

4.2 Compatibility

The Kisnt KN17 Mechanical Number Pad is compatible with most operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Android. Please note the following:

• The 10-key functionality is not compatible with ChromeBook.
• It is not fully compatible with Mac OS, as Apple products do not support external function keys/buttons. Basic numeric input will function.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Numeric Input

Once connected, the number pad functions as a standard numeric keypad. Press the desired number or symbol keys for input.

5.2 Num Lock Functionality

Press the Num Lock key to activate or deactivate the numeric input mode. When Num Lock is active, the numeric keys will input numbers. When inactive, some keys may function as navigation keys (e.g., Home, End, PgUp, PgDn).

5.3 Backlight Control

The number pad features white backlighting. To adjust the brightness of the backlight, hold down the Minus (-) key and then press the Plus (+) or Enter key to cycle through brightness levels.

7. Troubleshooting

• Number Pad Not Responding:
  Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the number pad and your computer. Try connecting to a different USB port or using a different USB-C to USB-A cable.
• Keys Not Registering Correctly:
  Check if Num Lock is enabled. If individual keys are not working, the switch might be faulty. Due to the hot-swappable design, you can replace individual switches.
• Backlight Not Working:
  Verify the backlight brightness settings by holding the Minus (-) key and pressing Plus (+) or Enter. Ensure the number pad is properly connected and receiving power.
• Compatibility Issues:
