  • To stop the tool, release the trigger button.

4.3 Demolition Technique

  1. Position the chisel bit against the material to be broken.
  2. For initial breaking, hold the hammer at an angle, nearly perpendicular to the work surface, to 'under bite' the face of the material.
  3. Once a crack or initial break is made, hold the hammer vertically to 'clip off' the top sections.
  4. Repeat the process, working systematically across the material.
  5. Take frequent breaks to avoid fatigue, especially given the tool's weight.
  6. Regularly clear away broken debris from the work area.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your JACKCHEN Demolition Electric Jack Hammer.

6.1 Tool Does Not Start

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional 110V outlet.
  • Circuit Breaker: Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
  • Carbon Brushes: Worn carbon brushes can prevent the motor from starting. Inspect and replace if necessary.

6.2 Reduced Impact Performance

  • Lubrication: Insufficient oil can reduce impact force. Check and refill the oil reservoir.
  • Chisel Condition: A dull or damaged chisel bit will perform poorly. Replace with a sharp, undamaged bit.
  • Carbon Brushes: Partially worn brushes can lead to reduced power. Replace if needed.

6.3 Excessive Vibration or Noise

  • Chisel Seating: Ensure the chisel bit is correctly and securely installed in the tool holder.
  • Loose Components: Check for any loose screws or parts on the tool body or handle. Tighten as required.
  • Internal Damage: If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
