1. Introduction and Overview

The VAGKRI Evaporative Cooler is a versatile 3-in-1 unit offering cooling, fan, and humidification functions. Designed for energy efficiency, it provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional air conditioning, especially in dry climates. This manual provides essential information for safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

This model features a powerful 3000 CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute) airflow capacity, 120° oscillation for wide coverage, and a large 12-gallon water reservoir for extended operation. It includes both an electronic control panel and a remote control for convenient operation, along with a 24-hour timer function.

2. Safety Instructions

• Always place the unit on a stable, level surface.
• Do not operate the unit in confined or excessively humid areas to prevent moisture buildup.
• Ensure the power cord is not damaged and is properly plugged into a grounded outlet (120 Volts).
• Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.
• Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning, refilling, or performing any maintenance.
• Do not insert objects into the air vents.
• Use only clean water in the reservoir.

3. Product Components

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the evaporative cooler and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Positioning: Place the unit on a firm, level surface. The integrated casters allow for easy mobility. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow. This unit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
3. Initial Water Fill:
   • Open the top lid of the unit.
   • Manually fill the 12-gallon reservoir with clean water. The transparent water window on the side allows you to monitor the water level. Do not overfill beyond the "MAX" line.
   • Alternatively, for continuous operation, attach a standard garden hose to the hose attachment port located at the rear of the unit. The float valve will automatically maintain the water level.

4. Ice Pack Preparation (Optional): For enhanced cooling, freeze the two included ice packs for 4-6 hours. Once frozen, place them into the designated compartments within the top water tank.
5. Power Connection: Plug the unit into a standard 120 Volt grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The VAGKRI Evaporative Cooler can be operated using either the electronic control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel / Remote Functions:

• ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
• Speed Button: Cycles through 3 wind speeds (Low, Medium, High).
• Swing Button: Activates the 120° horizontal oscillation function to distribute air widely. Vertical swing can be adjusted manually.
• Timer Button: Sets the automatic shut-off timer for up to 24 hours.
• Cool Button: Activates the evaporative cooling function, utilizing water from the reservoir to cool the air.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your evaporative cooler.

• Water Tank Cleaning:
  • Unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Drain any remaining water from the 12-gallon tank using the drain plug at the bottom.
  • Clean the tank regularly with a mild detergent and water to prevent mold or mildew buildup. Rinse thoroughly.
• Cooling Pad Maintenance:
  • The unit features 3-sided cooling pads. Periodically inspect these pads for mineral buildup or debris.
  • If necessary, remove the pads (refer to specific instructions in the full manual for removal) and rinse them with clean water. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure pads are completely dry before reinserting them into the unit.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow water to enter the control panel.
• Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank and cooling pads are completely dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
