Manual Mode Selection
Press the "FUNC" button to cycle through different measurement functions if you need to manually select a specific mode not covered by Smart Mode, such as capacitance, frequency, diode, or temperature.
Specific Measurement Functions
Voltage Measurement (AC/DC)
- Ensure the red test lead is in the "VΩHz" jack and the black lead in "COM".
- Connect the test leads across the circuit or component to measure voltage. The multimeter will automatically detect AC or DC voltage in Smart Mode.
Current Measurement (AC/DC)
- For currents up to 10A, insert the red test lead into the "10A" jack and the black lead into "COM".
- Connect the multimeter in series with the circuit.
Resistance Measurement
- Ensure the red test lead is in the "VΩHz" jack and the black lead in "COM".
- Connect the test leads across the component to measure resistance. Ensure the circuit is de-energized.

Continuity Test
- Ensure the red test lead is in the "VΩHz" jack and the black lead in "COM".
- Select continuity mode (if not in Smart Mode).
- Touch the test leads to the points you wish to check for continuity. An audible beep indicates a continuous path.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the multimeter with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the device is off and disconnected from any circuits before cleaning.
Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
Fuse Replacement
If the multimeter fails to measure current, the fuse may need replacement. Refer to the device's internal markings for the correct fuse type (e.g., 10A fuse) and consult a qualified technician if unsure.
Troubleshooting
- No Display: Check battery installation and ensure batteries have sufficient charge.
- Inaccurate Readings: Verify test lead connections, ensure correct mode selection, and check battery level.
- No Continuity Beep: Confirm continuity mode is active and test leads are making good contact.
- No Current Measurement: Check the 10A fuse. Ensure test leads are correctly inserted for current measurement.
For issues not resolved by these steps, contact customer support.
