1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Gamalta Aquarium Light. This advanced LED lighting system is designed to enhance the beauty of your freshwater fish tank and support the healthy growth of aquatic plants. Featuring a 24/7 natural lighting cycle, customizable modes, and a durable, waterproof design, this light provides an optimal environment for your aquatic life.

2. Important Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before use to prevent injury or damage.

  • Ensure the power supply is disconnected before performing any maintenance or installation.
  • This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
  • The light unit is waterproof (IP68 rated), but the power adapter and controller are not. Keep them away from water.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the light unit or controller. This will void the warranty.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • If any part of the product is damaged, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all items are present and in good condition upon opening the package:

4. Setup and Installation

  1. Unpack the Light: Carefully remove the aquarium light and all components from the packaging.
  2. Attach Mounting Brackets: Slide the expandable mounting brackets onto each end of the light unit. Ensure they are securely fitted.

  3. Position the Light: Place the light unit on top of your aquarium. Adjust the expandable brackets to fit the width of your tank (suitable for 24-30 inch tanks, with up to 6 inches of extension). The aluminum housing with grooves should face upwards for optimal heat dissipation.
  4. Connect Power: Connect the wired controller to the light unit. Then, plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Initial Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button on the controller to turn on the light.

5. Operating Instructions

The Gamalta Aquarium Light offers both a 24/7 Natural Mode and a customizable DIY Mode.

5.1 Controller Overview

The controller features the following buttons:

  • ON/OFF: Powers the light on or off.
  • TIME: Sets the running duration (6H/10H/12H) in DIY mode.
  • 24H AUTO: Activates the 24/7 Natural Mode.
  • MODEL: Cycles through 8 color settings in DIY mode.
  • Brightness +/-: Adjusts brightness levels (10%-100%). Long press for stepless dimming.

5.2 24/7 Natural Mode

This mode simulates a natural day-night cycle for your aquarium, providing optimal lighting conditions throughout the day.

  1. Press the 24H AUTO button on the controller.
  2. By default, the light will follow this cycle:
    • 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Gold Yellow light (Sunrise simulation)
    • 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM: White light (Daylight simulation)
    • 6:00 PM - 10:50 PM: Blue light (Moonlight simulation)
    • 10:50 PM - 6:00 AM: Light off

  3. You can adjust the starting time of the 24/7 cycle using the 6 time point indicators (AM8, AM10, AM12, PM15, PM18, PM22) on the controller. Press the 24H AUTO button repeatedly to cycle through these start times.

5.3 Customization (DIY) Mode

The DIY mode allows you to set your desired light color, brightness, and running time.

  1. Setting Running Time:

    Press the TIME button to select a running duration: 6 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours.

  2. Selecting Color:

    Press the MODEL button to cycle through 8 available color settings:

    • White
    • Red
    • Green
    • Blue
    • Purple
    • Gold Yellow
    • Cyan
    • Cycle (changes colors every 2 minutes)

  3. Adjusting Brightness:

    Use the Brightness +/- buttons to select from five brightness levels (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). For fine-tuning, long press either button for stepless dimming.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Gamalta Aquarium Light.

  • Cleaning the Light Unit:

    Before cleaning, always unplug the power adapter. Gently wipe the light unit with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dust, water spots, or algae buildup. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

  • Controller and Power Adapter:

    Keep the controller and power adapter dry at all times. Wipe them with a dry cloth if they become dusty.

  • Lamp Beads:

    The high-quality 5730+5050 type lamp beads are designed for long lifespan. The glue-filled technology and acrylic baffle prevent water vapor from entering, extending their service life. No special maintenance is required for the beads themselves beyond keeping the surface clean.

7. Troubleshooting
