Setup and Installation

Installation of the MakeFit shower head is designed to be quick and tool-free. Follow these steps for a hassle-free setup:

  1. Prepare the Shower Arm: Remove your existing shower head from the shower arm. Clean any old sealant or residue from the threads of the shower arm.
  2. Apply Teflon Tape: Wrap the provided Teflon tape clockwise around the threads of your shower arm 3-5 times.
  3. Install the Filtered Massage Shower Head: Screw the main filtered massage shower head unit onto the shower arm. Hand-tighten firmly.
  4. Connect the Handheld Hose: Attach one end of the 79-inch stainless steel shower hose to the handheld shower head and the other end to the designated port on the main shower unit. Ensure rubber washers are in place at both connections. Hand-tighten.
  5. Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If leaks occur, tighten connections slightly more or reapply Teflon tape.

The transparent filter cartridge is pre-installed and allows you to visually monitor when replacement is needed.

  1. Selecting Water Flow: Use the diverter knob on the main unit to switch between the fixed shower head, the handheld shower head, or both simultaneously.
  2. Adjusting Handheld Spray Modes: The handheld shower head features 10 distinct spray modes. Rotate the dial on the face of the handheld unit to cycle through settings such as rain, massage, mist, and a pause mode.
  3. Massage Shower Function: The fixed shower head provides a high-pressure massage spray, ideal for relieving muscle tension in the shoulders, neck, and back.
  4. Point Jet Mode: For cleaning tasks, press the button on the back of the handheld shower head to activate the powerful Point Jet Mode. This concentrated stream is effective for cleaning tiles, bathtubs, and hard-to-reach areas.
  5. Adjusting Angle: The main unit features an angle-adjustable brass swivel ball joint, allowing you to direct the fixed shower head to your preferred height and angle.

Maintenance

  1. Filter Replacement: The transparent filter cartridge allows you to see when it needs replacing. The frequency of replacement depends on your water quality and usage. To replace, unscrew the cap on the side of the main unit, remove the old filter, and insert a new one.
  2. Cleaning Nozzles: The anti-clog nozzles are designed for easy cleaning. Gently rub the rubber nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to remove any mineral buildup.
