5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
5.1 Emptying the Tank
Empty the tank after each use, especially after wet vacuuming, to prevent odors and maintain suction.
- Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet.
- Release the side latches and carefully lift the motor head off the tank.
- Pour out the collected debris or liquid into a suitable disposal area.
- Rinse the inside of the tank with water if necessary and wipe it dry before reassembling.
5.2 Cleaning Filters
Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power and air quality.
- Cloth Filter (Dry): Tap off loose dust into a trash can. For deeper cleaning, the cloth filter is washable. Rinse it under running water until clean. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- Foam Filter (Wet): Rinse the foam filter under running water to remove debris. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely before storage or next use.
Note: Never use a wet filter for dry vacuuming. Always ensure filters are completely dry before dry use.
5.3 Hose and Accessory Cleaning
Inspect the hose and accessories for blockages or debris. Clear any obstructions to ensure proper airflow.
