Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert three (3) AAA alkaline dry batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power button until the display illuminates.
- The device will undergo a warm-up period (T90 < 30 seconds).
- To power off, press and hold the Power button until the display turns off.
Gas Detection
- Once powered on and warmed up, position the flexible probe near the suspected gas leak source.
- The device will display the real-time gas concentration in %LEL.
- An audible alarm and visual LED will activate if the gas concentration exceeds the set alarm value. A higher beep frequency indicates a higher concentration.

Store the device in its protective carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Dead or incorrectly installed batteries. | Replace batteries, ensuring correct polarity. |
| Inaccurate gas readings. | Sensor contamination or calibration needed. | Clean the sensor area carefully. Perform a two-point field calibration. |
| Alarm sounds continuously. | High gas concentration detected or alarm threshold set too low. | Evacuate the area if gas is present. Adjust alarm settings if necessary. |
| Display is dim or flickering. | Low battery. | Replace batteries. |
