4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your iFi GO Link:
- Identify Your Device's Port: Determine if your source device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, computer) has a USB-C port.
- If your device has a USB-C port, you can directly connect the iFi GO Link.
- If your device has a standard USB-A port, use the included USB-A to USB-C adapter.
- If your device is an Apple product with a Lightning port, use the included Lightning to USB-C adapter.
- Connect the GO Link: Plug the USB-C connector of the iFi GO Link into the appropriate port on your source device. If using an adapter, connect the adapter to your device first, then plug the GO Link into the adapter.
- Connect Your Headphones: Insert the 3.5mm jack of your headphones into the gold-plated 3.5mm headphone socket on the iFi GO Link. Ensure it is fully inserted for proper connection.
- Verify Connection: The iFi GO Link features an LED indicator that changes color to show the audio format being played. A green light indicates standard resolution, while other colors (e.g., yellow for MQA, magenta for DSD) indicate higher resolutions.

5. Operating Instructions
Once connected, the iFi GO Link operates automatically. It draws power directly from your source device and does not require separate charging.
- Volume Control: Volume is controlled directly from your source device (phone, laptop, etc.). Adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level before playing audio.
- Audio Playback: Begin playing audio from your preferred music player, streaming service, or media application. The iFi GO Link will process the digital audio signal and output it through your connected headphones.
