Burner Types and BTU Ratings:

  • Auxiliary Burners (2): 6,000 BTU each, ideal for low heat and simmering.
  • Semi-Rapid Burners (2): 9,000 BTU each, suitable for general cooking.
  • Rapid Burners (2): 12,000 BTU each, for faster heating and boiling.
  • Triple Crown Burners (2): 20,000 BTU each, designed for high-heat cooking, searing, and rapid boiling. These burners offer a dual flame control for precise heat management, allowing for a wide range from high heat to a gentle simmer using only the inner ring.

To ignite a burner, push in the corresponding control knob and turn it counter-clockwise to the "HIGH" position. The igniter will spark. Once the flame is established, release the knob and adjust to the desired heat setting.

5.2 Oven Operation

The range features a double oven with a total capacity of 6.7 cu. ft. (3.5 cu. ft. and 2 cu. ft. compartments). Both ovens are equipped with blue porcelain interiors and convection technology.

Convection Oven:

The convection feature utilizes a fan-assisted circular heating element to distribute heat evenly throughout the oven cavity. This allows food to cook more uniformly, often in less time and at lower temperatures compared to conventional baking.

Broil Function:

The broil function provides intense top-down heat for searing, grilling, or browning food. Use the broiler drawer or the top rack position in the oven for best results. Always monitor food closely when broiling.

Using the Oven:

  1. Ensure oven racks are in the desired position before preheating.
  2. Turn the oven control knob to the desired temperature or function (e.g., Bake, Convection Bake, Broil).
  3. Allow the oven to preheat fully before placing food inside.
  4. The oven light can be activated via a separate switch to monitor cooking progress without opening the door.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your BRAMA gas range.

6.1 Cooktop Cleaning

  • Allow the cooktop and grates to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Remove continuous grates and burner caps. Clean with warm, soapy water. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner.

  • The stainless steel drip pan can be removed and cleaned separately.

6.2 Oven Cleaning

  • Ensure the oven is cool before cleaning.
  • The blue porcelain interior can be cleaned with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. For baked-on spills, a non-abrasive oven cleaner designed for porcelain enamel may be used, following the product instructions carefully.
