Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Adhere to the following guidelines:

  • This mask is designed for snorkeling and surface swimming. It is not intended for freediving or scuba diving beyond shallow depths (maximum 3 meters).
  • CO2 Safety: The Khroom Seaview Pro features a unique one-way valve system and separate exhalation channel to prevent CO2 rebreathing. This design ensures fresh air intake and efficient expulsion of exhaled air.
  • Always snorkel with a buddy.
  • Do not use if you have respiratory issues or are prone to panic in water.
  • Ensure the mask fits snugly and comfortably before entering the water.
  • Avoid snorkeling in strong currents or rough waters.
  • Children should only use the mask under direct adult supervision.

Sizing Guide

Choosing the correct size is crucial for comfort and to prevent leaks. Measure the distance from the bridge of your nose to the bottom of your chin.

SizeMeasurement (Nose Bridge to Chin)Recommended For

Setup

  1. Attach the Snorkel: Insert the snorkel tube firmly into the opening at the top of the mask until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached.
  2. Adjust Straps: Loosen the adjustable elastic straps.
  3. Position the Mask: Place the mask on your face, ensuring your chin is comfortably seated in the silicone skirt and the top of the mask rests on your forehead.
  4. Tighten Straps: Pull the straps over your head and tighten them evenly on both sides until the mask feels secure and comfortable. Do not overtighten. The silicone skirt should create a seal around your face without causing discomfort.
  5. Check for Seal: Inhale gently. The mask should suction slightly to your face, indicating a good seal. If you feel air leaking, readjust the straps or reposition the mask.
  6. GoPro Mount (Optional): If using a GoPro, attach it to the integrated mount at the top of the mask using the provided screw.

Operating Instructions

  1. Breathing: Breathe naturally through your nose and mouth. The full-face design allows for comfortable, unrestricted breathing.
  2. Snorkeling: When on the surface, the dry-top snorkel system prevents water from entering the snorkel tube if submerged.
  3. Diving (Shallow): The mask is suitable for shallow dives up to 3 meters. When diving, the float valve in the snorkel will seal, preventing water entry. Upon resurfacing, exhale sharply to clear any residual water from the snorkel.
  4. Clearing Water: If water enters the mask, lift your head slightly out of the water and exhale forcefully through your nose. The water will drain through the one-way purge valve at the bottom of the mask.
  5. Anti-Fog System: The mask's internal airflow design helps prevent fogging. Avoid touching the inside of the lens to maintain its anti-fog properties.

Maintenance and Care

  • Rinsing: After each use, rinse the mask thoroughly with fresh, clean water to remove salt, sand, and chlorine.
  • Cleaning: Use a mild soap and soft cloth to clean the mask if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sponges that could scratch the lens.
  • Drying: Allow the mask to air dry completely in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight, before storing.
  • Storage: Store the mask in its mesh bag or a protective case to prevent scratches and damage. Keep it in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Do not expose the mask to harsh chemicals, solvents, or petroleum-based products, as these can damage the silicone and plastic components.
