Setup

1. Prepare the Battery: Ensure the battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
2. Connect the Charger:
   • Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal.
   • Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.
   • For batteries installed in a vehicle, connect the black (-) clamp to the vehicle chassis away from the battery and fuel line if a ground connection is preferred.

Operating Instructions

Mode Selection

After connecting the charger and plugging it in, use the "MODE" touch button to select the appropriate charging mode for your battery type. The charger will automatically lock the button during charging to prevent accidental changes.

• AGM Mode: For AGM batteries.
• CAR Mode: For GEL, SLA, WET, Deep Cycle, EFB, Calcium batteries (common automotive batteries).
• MOTO Mode: For motorcycle batteries.
• LiFePO4 Mode: For LiFePO4 batteries.
• REPAIR Mode (16 hours): An advanced battery recovery mode for restoring old, idle, damaged, or sulfated batteries. Note: This mode cannot activate a completely dead battery or repair severely damaged batteries.

7-Stage Charging Process

The charger employs a 7-stage automatic charging process to optimize battery performance and longevity:

1. Desulfation (DES): Uses pulse voltage to break down sulfates in sulfated batteries.
2. Soft Start (SS): Gradually introduces power to the battery.
3. Bulk Charge (CC - Constant Current): Charges the battery at maximum current until it reaches approximately 80% capacity.
4. Absorption (CV - Constant Voltage): Charges the battery at a constant voltage to bring it to 100% capacity.
5. Battery Test (BAT.TST): Checks the battery's ability to hold a charge.
6. Recondition (REC): Further conditions the battery for optimal performance.
7. Float (FLT): Maintains the battery at full charge without overcharging.
