  • Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.

4.3 Add Fuel:

Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.

  • Ensure the generator is off and cool.
  • Open the fuel tank cap.
  • Slowly add gasoline to the fuel tank, being careful not to overfill. Leave some space for fuel expansion.
  • Securely close the fuel tank cap.

4.4 Grounding the Generator:

For safety, always ground the generator before operation. Connect a grounding wire from the generator's grounding terminal to a suitable ground source (e.g., a ground rod).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Engine:

  1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected.
  2. Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position (if applicable).
  3. Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (for cold starts).
  4. Turn the ENG. SW. to the 'ON' position.
  5. Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
  6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.

5.2 Using ECO Mode:

The ECO mode adjusts engine speed to match the load, saving fuel and reducing noise.
