Setup

1. Inserting Batteries and SD Card

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ255-BK uses four AA alkaline batteries. An SD card (not included) is required for storing photos and videos.

  1. Locate the battery and SD card compartment door on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Slide the latch to open the compartment door.
  3. Insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Insert a compatible SD card into the SD card slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
  5. Close the compartment door firmly until it latches securely.

2. Attaching the Neck Strap and Lens Cap

  • Thread the neck strap through the strap eyelets on the camera body and secure it.
  • Attach the lens cap cord to the camera to prevent loss. Place the lens cap over the lens when the camera is not in use to protect it from dust and scratches.

Operating Your Camera

Powering On/Off

Press the Power button located on the top of the camera to turn it on or off. The lens will extend when powered on.

LCD Screen
