5. Setup Instructions
Filling the Water Reservoir for Steam Function:
- Ensure the Steamstyler is unplugged and cool.
- Locate the water reservoir cap on the side of the appliance. Open the cap.
- Use the provided refillable water bottle to carefully fill the reservoir with distilled water. Do not overfill.
- Close the reservoir cap securely.
Initial Steam Activation (First Use):
- Remove any protective stickers from the steam control dial located on the back of the handle.
- Plug in the Steamstyler and turn it on. Set your desired temperature (steam activates above 300°F).
- Once the tool reaches temperature, firmly squeeze the handle together 2-3 times. This action presses against the internal rubber pump to activate the steam mechanism.
- The tool will begin to produce steam once it reaches 300°F. When the plates are closed, steam will emit for approximately 5 seconds.
- Tip: If steam is slow to release, repeat step 3 to pump more water through the steam channel.
6. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Temperature Adjustment:
- Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet.
- Press and hold the power button to turn the Steamstyler on. The digital display will show the temperature and blink until the desired temperature is reached.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select one of the 6 heat settings (300°F to 450°F).
- To turn off, press and hold the power button until the display turns off. The appliance will also automatically shut off after 1 hour of inactivity.

Styling with Steam:

- Adjust the steam control dial (located on the back of the handle) to LOW or HIGH, or OFF if you prefer no steam.
- Section dry hair. Place a 1-inch section of hair between the plates.
- Gently glide the Steamstyler down the hair section. For curls, twist the styler as you glide.
- Repeat as necessary for desired style. Steam will be emitted when the plates are closed and the steam function is active.
