Setup and Assembly

1. Charging the Battery Pack

  1. Connect the charger to a power outlet. The indicator light will illuminate green.
  2. Slide the battery pack into the charger. The indicator light will turn red, indicating charging is in progress.
  3. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green. Remove the battery pack from the charger.
  4. Note: New battery packs are not fully charged and should be charged before first use.

2. Installing/Removing the Battery Pack

  • To Install: Align the battery pack with the receptacle on the tool handle. Slide the battery pack into the tool until it latches securely in place.
  • To Remove: Press the release button on the battery pack and slide the battery out of the tool.

3. Installing/Removing Accessories (Bits)

  • To Install: Pull the chuck collar forward. Insert the 1/4" hex shank accessory fully into the chuck. Release the chuck collar to lock the accessory in place. Tug on the accessory to ensure it is securely seated.
  • To Remove: Pull the chuck collar forward and pull the accessory out of the chuck.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off and Speed Control

  • To Turn On: Pull the trigger. The tool speed increases with increased trigger pressure.
  • To Turn Off: Release the trigger.
  • Forward/Reverse: The forward/reverse selector switch is located above the trigger. Push the switch to the left for forward rotation and to the right for reverse rotation. Center position locks the trigger.

2. 4-Mode Drive Control

The impact driver features a 4-Mode Drive Control system, allowing you to select the appropriate speed and power for different applications. Press the mode selection button to cycle through the modes.

  • Mode 1: Lower speed and torque for precision work and delicate materials.
  • Mode 2: Medium speed and torque for general fastening applications.
  • Mode 3: High speed and torque (up to 3600 RPMs) for heavy-duty fastening.
  • Self-Tapping Screw Mode: Optimized for self-tapping screws, providing controlled speed to prevent over-tightening and stripping.

3. Tri-LED Illumination

The integrated Tri-LED lights illuminate the workspace, providing better visibility in dimly lit areas. The lights activate when the trigger is pulled.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tool.

  • Cleaning: Keep the tool's ventilation openings clear and free of debris. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Lubrication: This tool is designed for a long life without additional lubrication.
  • Battery Care: Store battery packs in a cool, dry place. Do not store them in direct sunlight or where temperatures exceed 120°F (50°C). For long-term storage, charge batteries to about 50% capacity.

Troubleshooting
