1. Introduction

This document provides instructions for the Generic replacement remote control, model UR78EC0610-3, designed for use with various Mitsubishi air conditioner units. This remote control offers essential functions for operating your air conditioner.

Important Note:

• This is a replacement remote control. It may not support all advanced functions available on your original air conditioner remote.

2. Compatibility

3. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Caution:

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

4. Operating Instructions

This remote control provides basic functions for your Mitsubishi air conditioner. Point the remote directly at the air conditioner's receiver when operating.

Basic Functions:

• Power ON/OFF: Press the ON/OFF button to turn the air conditioner on or off.
• Mode Selection: Use the MODE button to cycle through available operating modes (e.g., Cool, Dry, Fan).
• Temperature Adjustment: Use the TEMP UP (▲) and TEMP DOWN (▼) buttons to set your desired temperature.
