  1. Gently pull the top and bottom clips of the scanner to extend the bracket.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

The scanner connects to your device via Bluetooth. Follow these steps to pair your scanner:

  1. Turn on the scanner using the ON/OFF switch located at the bottom. The blue indicator light will flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  2. On your smartphone, iPad, or computer, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
  4. Look for "EY-017" or "EY-022P" in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
  5. Once paired, the blue light on the scanner will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating a successful connection.

Important Note:

If you have previously scanned a "Restore Factory Defaults Setting" barcode (command: AT+RESTORE), you must scan the "Bluetooth HID Mode" barcode (command: AT+MODE=2) first before attempting to reconnect with your device. These configuration barcodes are typically found in the physical user manual. Failure to do so may result in connection or data upload issues, or the scanner may request a PIN code.
