3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Site Requirements

Ensure adequate space for installation. The product requires an additional 10cm width for entry points like doorways and hallways. For the washing machine itself, allow at least 15cm above, 1cm behind, and 1cm to the left/right (side with drain hose connection) for proper ventilation and hose routing.

3.2 Installing the Anti-Vibration Riser (OP-SG600)

  • Place the four OP-SG600 risers at each corner of the waterproof pan, ensuring they fit neatly.
  • The risers are designed to prevent the washing machine from slipping and reduce vibration transmission.
  • Ensure the non-slip sheets on the bottom of the risers are in contact with the floor for stability.
  • Carefully lift and place the washing machine onto the risers, ensuring each foot is securely seated.

3.3 Water and Drain Connection

  • Connect the water supply hose to the water tap and the washing machine's inlet.
  • Connect the drain hose to the washing machine's outlet and route it to the drain. The anti-vibration risers provide necessary space for the drain hose if the drain is located directly under the machine.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel

The washing machine features an easy-to-understand control panel with a knob for cycle selection and buttons for various functions.

4.2 Washing and Drying Courses

Select the appropriate course based on your laundry type and desired finish:

  • Standard Course: Adjusts drying time based on laundry load for thorough drying.
  • Fluffy Wrinkle Removal Course: Reduces wrinkles and provides a fluffy finish, ideal for shirts and cotton trousers.
  • Shortest 30-minute Drying: Convenient for quick drying or finishing drying.
  • Hot Water Wash + Dry: Combines high-power hot water washing with thorough drying.
  • Specialty Courses: Optimal courses for large items like futons or delicate clothes (hand wash).

4.3 Hot Water Wash Functions

Maximize washing effectiveness by selecting the appropriate hot water temperature:

  • 60°C Course: For underwear and whites, effectively sterilizes odor causes.
  • 40°C Course: For everyday wear and delicate clothes, targets sebum stains and odors.
  • 40°C Course + Soak (approx. 30 min): For stubborn yellowing, combines hot water with soaking for thorough removal.
  • 20°C Winter Wash: Recommended for winter laundry, helps detergent dissolve easily and maintains high washing power.

4.4 Custom Settings and Timer

  • Custom Wash Settings: Register and recall your preferred wash settings for convenience.
  • Reservation Timer: Set a timer for the washing cycle to finish after a specified duration (Wash: 3-19 hours; Wash & Dry: 7-19 hours).

4.5 Child Lock

To activate the child lock, press and hold the "Child Lock" button for 3 seconds or more. This will lock the door, preventing accidental opening during operation.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Tub Clean Function

Utilize the "Tub Clean" function, which washes the tub with approximately 60°C hot water. Regular use helps protect against bacteria and black mold buildup, ensuring a clean washing environment.

5.2 Detergent Dispenser Case

The detergent dispenser case is designed for easy removal and cleaning. Periodically clean the dispenser to prevent detergent residue buildup.

5.3 General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For cleaning under the washing machine, the anti-vibration risers facilitate smooth access.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your washing machine, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Machine not starting: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in and the door is properly closed. Ensure the child lock is not activated.
  • Water not filling: Verify that the water supply tap is fully open and the water inlet hose is not kinked.
  • Excessive vibration: Ensure the washing machine is level and the anti-vibration risers are correctly installed. Distribute laundry evenly inside the drum.
  • Poor drying performance: Check if the lint filter is clean. Ensure the drying capacity is not exceeded.
