2. Product Overview
The Noon East 15 Bar Espresso Coffee Machine (Model CM5403D-GS) is designed to prepare various coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and latte. It features a powerful 15-bar pressure system and an 850W heating element for quick and efficient brewing.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Check that all components are present and undamaged. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
3.2 First Use & Cleaning
- Before first use, clean all removable parts (water tank, portafilter, filter, drip tray) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level.
- Place an empty cup under the coffee outlet.
- Turn on the machine and allow it to heat up. Once heated, run a cycle without coffee to flush the system. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
3.3 Filling the Water Tank
The transparent water tank is located at the side of the machine. Remove the tank, fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX mark, and securely place it back into position.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Making Espresso
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Add desired amount of ground coffee to the reusable filter in the portafilter. Tamp lightly.
- Attach the portafilter securely to the brewing head.
- Place one or two cups on the drip tray under the portafilter. The machine can brew two cups simultaneously.
- Press the espresso button. The machine will heat water to the ideal brewing temperature and brew espresso within approximately 10 seconds.
- You can adjust the coffee strength to your preference using the strength selector.

4.2 Frothing Milk (Cappuccino & Latte)
The integrated steam wand allows you to create rich milk froth for your favorite milk-based espresso drinks.
- Fill a pitcher with cold milk (maximum 150ml for optimal frothing).
- Position the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.
- Activate the steam function using the control knob.
- Move the pitcher up and down gently to create froth.
- Once desired froth is achieved, turn off the steam function.
- Immediately clean the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your coffee machine.
5.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: The unique removable drip tray should be emptied and cleaned after each use.
- Portafilter and Filter: Remove spent coffee grounds and rinse the portafilter and filter under running water. They are reusable and easy to clean.
- Steam Wand: Wipe immediately after each use with a damp cloth to remove milk residue. Run a short burst of steam to clear any internal blockages.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. The soft-touch buttons are easy to wipe clean.
5.2 Descaling
Depending on water hardness, descaling should be performed regularly (e.g., every 2-3 months) to prevent mineral buildup. Refer to a suitable descaling solution's instructions for proper use. Always rinse the machine thoroughly with fresh water after descaling.
