1. Introduction

The Philips Air Performer 7000 Series is a versatile 2-in-1 appliance designed to purify the air and provide cooling airflow. 2. Safety Information

Before operating the appliance, please read this user manual carefully and keep it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other injuries or damage.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the appliance and all packaging materials from the box.
  2. Remove any protective films or stickers from the unit.

4.2 Filter Installation (if not pre-installed)

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
  2. Open the filter cover, typically located at the bottom or rear of the unit.
  3. Remove the new filter from its protective packaging.
  4. Insert the filter into the appliance, ensuring it is correctly seated.
  5. Close the filter cover securely.

4.3 Placement

  • Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface.
  • Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around the air inlets and outlets for optimal airflow.
  • Connect the power plug to a wall outlet.

  • Auto Mode: The appliance automatically adjusts fan speed based on detected air quality using AeraSense sensors.
  • Manual Speed: Select from 10 manual fan speeds for customized airflow.

  • Sleep Mode: Operates at a whisper-quiet 20 dB(A) with dimmed display lights for undisturbed rest.

5.4 Airflow Adjustment

The patented Dual Flow motor allows for fully adjustable airflow, switching between direct cooling and diffused air circulation. The unit can also oscillate up to 350 degrees to distribute purified air throughout the room.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Appliance

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2 Filter Replacement

The appliance is equipped with a smart filter alert system that precisely calculates filter lifespan based on pollution levels and operating time. An indicator on the display or in the Air+ app will notify you when the filter needs replacement.

  1. Unplug the appliance.
  2. Open the filter access panel.
  3. Remove the used filter and dispose of it properly.
  4. Insert a new Philips NanoProtect HEPA and Active Carbon Filter (Model: FYM860/30, if applicable).
  5. Close the filter access panel.
  6. Plug in the appliance and reset the filter lifetime counter as per the on-screen instructions or app.
