4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unpacking

5. Operating Instructions

Your safe uses a combination of a mechanical password and a key for opening. The mechanical password is factory-set and cannot be changed by the user. It consists of 3 sets of 6-digit numbers.

5.1 Opening the Safe

To open the safe, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Mechanical Password: Refer to the documentation provided with your safe for the specific 3-set, 6-digit mechanical password. Let's assume the password is X-Y-Z (where X, Y, and Z are the three numbers).
2. Dial the First Number (X): Turn the mechanical dial clockwise (right) past '0' at least three times, then stop precisely on the first number (X) of your password.
3. Dial the Second Number (Y): Turn the mechanical dial counter-clockwise (left) past '0' at least two times, then stop precisely on the second number (Y) of your password.
4. Dial the Third Number (Z): Turn the mechanical dial clockwise (right) past '0' at least once, then stop precisely on the third number (Z) of your password.
5. Insert and Turn the Key: Insert the provided key into the keyhole and turn it clockwise (right) to unlock.
6. Open the Safe Door: Pull the safe door open.

5.2 Closing and Locking the Safe

To close and lock the safe:

1. Ensure the safe door is fully closed.
2. Turn the key counter-clockwise (left) to lock the mechanism, then remove the key.
3. Rotate the mechanical dial a few turns in either direction to scramble the combination, preventing unauthorized access.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
• Lock Mechanism: Periodically check the lock mechanism for smooth operation. Do not lubricate the mechanical dial or keyhole unless specifically instructed by a professional, as this can attract dust and cause issues.
