3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

The keyboard requires two AAA batteries, and the mouse requires one AA battery. These batteries are typically pre-installed. If replacement is needed, carefully open the battery compartments as shown in the figures below.

3.2. USB Receiver Connection

Locate the USB nano receiver, usually stored inside the mouse's battery compartment or within the product packaging. Plug this receiver into an available USB port on your computer. 4. Operating

4.1. Keyboard Features

The MK470 keyboard features low-profile scissor keys for a comfortable and quiet typing experience. It includes a full number pad and a layout optimized for Windows operating systems. For enhanced productivity, the keyboard offers 12 customizable FN keys. These can be configured using the Logi Options software to assign shortcuts tailored to your needs.

4.2. Mouse Features

The accompanying mouse is ambidextrous with a comfortable 3-button design. 5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your keyboard and mouse, gently wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.2. Battery Life and Replacement

The auto-sleep feature helps conserve battery life, allowing for up to 36 months of keyboard use and 18 months of mouse use. Actual battery life may vary based on user and computing conditions. When batteries need replacement, refer to section 3.1 for instructions on accessing the battery compartments.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Connectivity Issues

If you experience intermittent connectivity or unresponsiveness, try the following:

  • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
  • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
  • Ensure the keyboard and mouse are within the 10-meter (33-foot) operating range of the receiver.
  • Check and replace the batteries in both the keyboard and mouse if they are low.

6.2. Lag or Delayed Response

If you notice lag or delayed response, especially with the mouse, it often indicates low battery power. Replace the batteries in the affected device. Environmental factors or interference from other wireless devices can also cause this; try moving the receiver or the devices to a different location.

6.3. Software and Customization

For advanced customization of the FN keys and other settings, download and install the Logi Options software from the official Logitech website. If you encounter issues with software features, ensure your software is up to date.
