1. Introduction

The DYRABREST Handheld Steam Cleaner is a powerful and portable cleaning device designed for various household and automotive cleaning tasks. 2. Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before using this appliance to prevent injury or damage.

  • Always ensure the steam cleaner is filled with water before turning it on. Operating without water can cause damage.
  • The steam output is extremely hot (up to 266 °F / 130 °C) and under high pressure (up to 3 bar). Avoid direct contact with skin or eyes.
  • The extension wand and nozzle tips will remain hot after use. Handle with care and allow to cool before storing.
  • This appliance features multiple protections including anti-dry and automatic temperature control and reset for enhanced safety.
  • Do not immerse the main unit in water or other liquids.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

4. Setup

4.1 Adding Water

  1. Ensure the steam cleaner is unplugged and turned off.
  2. Locate the water inlet cap on the top of the main unit.
  3. Carefully open the water inlet cap.
  4. Fill the water tank with clean tap water. The tank has a capacity of 500 milliliters (approximately 0.26 gallons). Do not overfill.
  5. Securely close the water inlet cap.

4.2 Attaching Accessories

  1. Connect the steam hose with the spray gun to the main unit's steam outlet. Ensure it is firmly attached.
  2. Choose the appropriate brush head or the extended elbow nozzle for your cleaning task.
  3. Attach the selected accessory to the tip of the spray gun or the extended elbow nozzle. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On and Heating

  1. After filling the water tank and attaching the desired accessory, plug the power cord into a standard 110V electrical outlet.
  2. Turn on the power switch located on the main unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Allow the unit to heat up. The 2500W power enables quick steam preparation in approximately 10 seconds. You will hear a slight noise as it builds pressure and steam begins to emit.

5.2 Adjusting Steam Output

The steam cleaner features a 6-gear adjustment dial to control the cleaning force and steam output:

  • Rotate the dial to select a setting from 1 to 6.
  • Lower settings provide less steam, suitable for delicate surfaces.
  • Higher settings (up to 6) provide maximum steam pressure (up to 3 bar) for tackling tougher stains.

5.3 Cleaning Techniques

Direct the steam output towards the surface to be cleaned. For optimal results, keep the sprayer head close to the surface as temperature decreases with distance. The high temperature steam (up to 266 °F / 130 °C) and high pressure (up to 3 bar) effectively break down stubborn stains, oil, and dust.

The extended elbow nozzle and 7.22 ft steam hose provide excellent reach, allowing you to clean not only surface stains but also hard-to-reach corner stains and large areas without frequently changing power outlets.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steam cleaner:

  • After each use, turn off and unplug the unit. Allow it to cool completely before handling.
  • Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the unit and accessories with a damp cloth.
  • For stubborn residue on brush heads, clean them under running water.
  • Store the steam cleaner and its accessories in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.
