Package Contents
Ensure all items are present before proceeding with installation:
- Wireless Window Sensor (Main Unit and Magnetic Contact)
- Instruction Manual
- Double-sided Tape
- Card Pin (for reset)
- 2 x AAA Batteries (included)
Setup and Installation
1. Battery Installation
The sensor requires two AAA batteries. These are included in the package. Open the battery compartment on the main sensor unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2. App Download and Account Creation
Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (available on iOS and Android). Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Device Pairing (Wi-Fi Connection)
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The sensor does not support 5GHz networks.
- Open the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app.
- Tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner to add a new device.
- Select "Sensors" from the category list on the left, then choose "Contact Sensor (Wi-Fi)".
- After inserting batteries into the sensor, press and hold the RESET button on the end of the main unit using the provided card pin or a similar small, sharp object.
- The red light on the sensor will start flashing, first slowly, then speeding up. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
- Follow the prompts in the app to complete the connection process. If the app doesn't automatically detect the sensor, ensure your phone is on the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band and try resetting the unit again, then manually add it by pressing +, selecting the 'Sensors' category on the left, and choose the "Contact Sensor (Wi-Fi)" from the list, and follow the prompts.
- Once connected, you can edit the sensor's name to something descriptive (e.g., "Front Door Sensor", "Bedroom Window").
4. Physical Installation
The sensor consists of two parts: a main unit and a smaller magnetic contact. They should be installed on the door/window frame and the door/window itself, respectively, with a maximum gap of 10mm when closed.
- Clean the surface where you intend to install the sensor.
- Use the included 3M double-sided tape to firmly attach both parts. Ensure they are aligned and close to each other when the door/window is closed.
- Alternatively, you can use screws for a more permanent installation (screws not included).

Operating Instructions
App Alerts and History
Once installed and connected, the sensor will send real-time notifications to your smartphone via the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app whenever the monitored door or window is opened or closed. You can view the current status and a complete history of all alarm records and battery power within the app.

Voice Control Integration
The sensor is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. After linking your "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" account to your voice assistant, you can inquire about the sensor's status using voice commands. For example:
- "Alexa, is the [Device Name] closed?"
- "Hey Google, is the [Device Name] open?"

Smart Home Automation
Extend your smart home capabilities by creating routines and automations within the "Tuya Smart" / "Smart Life" app or your voice assistant's app (e.g., Alexa app). For instance, you can set up rules such as:
- Automatically turn on smart lights when a door is opened.
- Trigger a smart siren if a window is opened unexpectedly.
- Turn off the air conditioning if a window is left open for an extended period.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The sensor is powered by two AAA batteries, providing approximately one year of monitoring. When the battery level is low, you will receive a notification through the app. To replace the batteries, open the battery compartment on the main sensor unit and replace the old batteries with new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

Cleaning
Wipe the sensor units with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
