Installation (Filter Replacement)
Follow these steps to replace your iFilters CR70/CR65 cartridge in compatible C7000 or C6500 systems:
- Turn Off Water Supply: Locate the main water shut-off valve to your filtration system and turn it off.
- Depressurize System: Open a nearby filtered water faucet to relieve pressure from the system. Allow water to drain until flow stops.
- Remove Old Filter: Unscrew the filter housing or follow your system's specific instructions to open it. Carefully remove the old filter cartridge. Dispose of the old filter responsibly.
- Clean Housing: Clean the inside of the filter housing with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Inspect and lubricate O-rings with food-grade silicone grease if necessary.
