The Makerfire M6 is a versatile Bluetooth 5.0 audio adapter designed to function as both a transmitter and a receiver. 2.2 Device Interfaces and Controls
The M6 adapter offers a variety of interfaces for broad compatibility:
- 1. Memory Card Playback: For playing audio files directly from a USB flash drive.
- 2. TF Card Playback: For playing audio files directly from a TF (MicroSD) card.
- 3. RCA Interface (Input/Output): Red and white ports for analog audio connection.
- 4. Coaxial Input Interface: For digital audio input.
- 5. Optical Input Interface: For digital audio input.

3. Setup
3.1 Powering On/Off
Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB charging cable. The device will automatically power on. To power off, disconnect the power source. Note: The remote control's red button does not function as a power on/off switch for the device.
3.2 Connecting to Audio Devices
The M6 adapter can connect to various audio systems. Identify the appropriate cable for your setup:
- AUX Connection: Use the 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the M6 to devices with a 3.5mm audio jack (e.g., car audio, wired speakers).
- RCA Connection: Use the RCA cable (red and white plugs) to connect to devices with RCA audio input/output (e.g., home stereo systems, older TVs).
- Optical/Coaxial Connection: For digital audio, use an optical fiber cable or coaxial cable to connect to compatible devices (e.g., modern TVs, soundbars).

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Switching Modes (TX/RX)
The M6 adapter supports two main modes: Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX). Press the 'Receive/Transmit Button' (labeled 8 in Figure 2.2) to switch between modes. The HD LED display will indicate the current mode (TX or RX).

4.2 Receiver (RX) Mode
In RX mode, the M6 receives Bluetooth audio from your phone, tablet, or laptop and outputs it to a wired audio system.
- Switch the M6 to RX mode. The LED display will show "RX".
- Connect the M6 to your wired speakers, home stereo, or car audio system using the appropriate AUX or RCA cable.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for "M6" in the list of available devices.
- Select "M6" to pair. Once paired, audio from your mobile device will play through your wired audio system.
4.3 Transmitter (TX) Mode
In TX mode, the M6 transmits audio from non-Bluetooth devices (like a TV or PC) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- Switch the M6 to TX mode. The LED display will show "TX".
- Connect the M6 to your TV, PC, or other audio source using the appropriate AUX, RCA, Optical, or Coaxial cable.
- Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode.
- The M6 will automatically search for and connect to nearby Bluetooth audio devices. Once connected, audio from your source device will play through your Bluetooth headphones/speakers.
4.4 TF Card and USB Disk Playback
The M6 can play audio files directly from a TF card or USB flash drive.
- Insert a TF card into the TF card slot (2) or a USB flash drive into the USB port (1).
- The device will automatically switch to playback mode. Use the remote control or the device's buttons to control playback (play/pause, next/previous track, volume).

4.5 NFC Pairing
For compatible mobile phones/tablets with NFC functionality, you can quickly pair with the M6:
- Ensure the M6 is in RX mode.
- Enable NFC on your mobile device.
- Tap your mobile device near the NFC area on the M6. Follow the prompts on your phone to complete pairing.
4.6 Hands-Free Calling
When the M6 is in RX mode and paired with your smartphone, it supports hands-free calling through its built-in microphone.
- When a call comes in, press the Play/Pause button on the M6 or remote to answer.
- Press the Play/Pause button again to end the call.
4.7 Remote Control Usage
The included infrared remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance of 5-10 meters. Functions include mode switching, volume control, track selection, and play/pause.

Important Note: The red power button on the remote control does not have power on/off functionality for the device itself. The device powers on when connected to a power source and powers off when disconnected.
5. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. This will void the warranty.
