1. Introduction

This document provides essential instructions for the Generic IR Replacement Remote Control. This remote is designed to function with various projector models, including Vecupou QK03, Tzumi 7810, Aproca S237, POYANK TP-01 M10 PJ0451, and AuKing M8-F Mini LED LCD Wi-Fi Portable Projectors. As a replacement unit, some advanced functions present on the original remote may not be supported. Please read this manual carefully before use.

Important Note: This remote control does not include batteries. You will need 2 AAA batteries for operation.

2. Product Overview

The remote control features a standard layout for common projector functions. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and their general purpose.

3. Setup: Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install them:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open it.

  4. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  5. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

The remote is now ready for use. No programming is required; it operates via infrared (IR) technology.

4. Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the IR receiver on your projector. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector.

  • Power Button (): Press to turn the projector ON or OFF.
  • MENU Button: Access the projector's main menu for settings adjustments.
  • SOURCE Button: Cycle through available input sources (e.g., HDMI, USB, AV).
  • Directional Arrows (◀ ▲ ► ▼): Navigate through menus and options.
  • OK Button: Confirm selections or enter sub-menus.
  • Play/Pause (⏸ ⏸): Control media playback (if supported by the projector and source).
  • EXIT Button: Exit current menu or return to the previous screen.
  • Volume Up/Down (🔊 🔉): Adjust the audio output level.
  • Mute (🔇): Mute or unmute the audio.

Note: Not all buttons or functions may be supported by every compatible projector model. Functionality may vary.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the remote with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's range decreases or it stops responding. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries.
  • Storage: If the remote will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

6. Troubleshooting

Remote is not responding:
  • Ensure batteries are installed correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries.
  • Check if there are any obstructions between the remote and the projector's IR receiver.
  • Ensure you are within the effective range and pointing the remote directly at the projector.
Remote only works when very close to the projector:
  • This can indicate low battery power. Replace the batteries.
  • Ensure the IR receiver on the projector is clean and unobstructed.
  • As a generic replacement remote, performance may vary compared to an original remote.
Certain functions do not work:
  • This replacement remote may not support all advanced or specific functions of your original projector remote. Refer to your projector's original manual for specific functions.
