4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

1. Connect the provided Type-C USB charging cable to the charging port on the base.
2. Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
3. Place the grinders onto the charging base. The smart light indicator on each grinder will illuminate red, indicating they are charging.
4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn white.

4.2 Filling the Grinders

1. Hold the grinder horizontally.
2. Locate the transparent window on the side of the grinder.
3. Twist the transparent window cover to open the filling compartment.
4. Carefully pour your desired spices (e.g., whole peppercorns, coarse salt, red pepper flakes) into the compartment. Each grinder can hold up to 70ml of spices.
5. Close the transparent window cover by twisting it back until it locks securely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 One-Handed Operation

• Simply press and hold the power button located on the top of the grinder.
• The grinder will automatically activate, and the LED light at the bottom will illuminate, allowing you to see the amount of spice being dispensed.
• Release the button to stop grinding.

5.2 Adjusting Coarseness

• Turn the adjustment dial located at the bottom of the grinder.
• Rotate clockwise for a finer grind and counter-clockwise for a coarser grind.
• There are 5 levels of coarseness to choose from, allowing you to customize your seasoning.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• After each use, wipe the bottom grinding area and the charging port area with a dry cloth to prevent spice residue buildup.
• Use the included small cleaning brush to regularly clean the grinding mechanism for optimal performance.
• DO NOT immerse the grinders or the charging base in water. They are not dishwasher safe.

6.2 Storage

• Store the grinders on their charging base when not in use to keep them organized and fully charged.
• Keep the grinders in a dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

7. Troubleshooting

• Grinder not operating:
  • Ensure the grinder is fully charged. Place it on the charging base and check if the indicator light turns white after charging.
  • Verify that the spice compartment is correctly closed and locked.
  • Check if there are any blockages in the grinding mechanism. Use the cleaning brush to clear any residue.
• Grinder not charging:
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the charging base and the power adapter.
  • Check if the power adapter is working correctly and the outlet has power.
  • Clean the charging contacts on both the grinder and the base with a dry cloth to remove any spice residue.
• Inconsistent grind:
  • Adjust the coarseness dial at the bottom of the grinder.
  • Ensure the spice compartment is not overfilled, which can affect grinding consistency.
