1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient installation and operation of your ELE-GATE HOLD34 Fixed Wall Mount. This mount is designed to securely hold monitors, screens, and smart TVs ranging from 26 to 55 inches, with a maximum weight capacity of 50 kg. It features an adjustable tilt mechanism from -5 to 15 degrees for optimal viewing angles.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for a secure and stable installation of your wall mount.

4.1 Tools Required (Not Included)

• Pencil
• Drill
• Drill bits (appropriate for wall type and anchor size)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Tape measure
• Stud finder (for wood stud walls)

4.2 Mounting the Wall Plate

1. Determine Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location on your wall, considering viewing height and stud availability (for wood walls).
2. Mark Drill Holes: Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height. Use the integrated spirit level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drill hole locations with a pencil.
3. Drill Pilot Holes:
   • For Wood Stud Walls: Drill pilot holes into the center of the studs at the marked locations.
   • For Concrete/Brick Walls: Drill pilot holes and insert the appropriate wall anchors (if included or purchased separately).
4. Attach Wall Plate: Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten firmly, but do not overtighten.

5. Identify VESA Pattern: Locate the four mounting holes on the back of your TV. Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between these holes to determine your TV's VESA pattern (e.g., 200x200mm, 400x400mm).
6. Select Screws: Choose the correct diameter and length of screws from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA holes. Use spacers if necessary to ensure the screws do not bottom out or damage internal components.
7. Attach Arms: Align the two TV mounting arms with the VESA holes on the back of your TV. Ensure the hooks on the arms are facing upwards. Secure the arms to the TV using the selected screws and washers.

4.4 Mounting the TV to the Wall Plate

8. Lift and Hook: With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the mounting arms onto the top edge of the wall plate.
9. Lower and Secure: Gently lower the TV until the arms are fully seated on the wall plate. Ensure both arms are securely engaged.
10. Locking Mechanism: Locate the locking screws or pull-straps at the bottom of the TV mounting arms. Tighten the locking screws or engage the pull-straps to secure the TV to the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement.

5. Operation (Adjusting Tilt)

The ELE-GATE HOLD34 wall mount allows for a tilt adjustment range of -5 to 15 degrees to optimize your viewing experience.

1. Loosen Tilt Knobs: On each TV mounting arm, locate the large knob or bolt that controls the tilt. Loosen these knobs/bolts slightly.
2. Adjust Angle: Gently tilt your TV to the desired upward or downward angle.
3. Tighten Tilt Knobs: Once the desired angle is achieved, firmly tighten both tilt knobs/bolts to secure the TV in position. Do not overtighten.
