Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using this appliance and retain for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions could result in fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or property damage.

  • WARNING: To avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
  • Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • The heater is equipped with an Overheat Protection system that automatically shuts off the unit if parts of the heater get excessively hot. If this occurs, unplug the heater and wait 30 minutes for it to cool down before restarting.
  • The heater also features a Tip-Over Protection switch that automatically shuts off the unit if it is accidentally tipped over.

Setup

  1. Unpack the Heater: Carefully remove the heater and all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from walls, furniture, curtains, and other combustible materials. Do not place it on soft surfaces like beds or deep carpets where openings may be blocked.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched off before plugging it into a 120V, 60Hz power outlet. The power cord length is 6 ft (1.8 m).
  4. Remote Control Batteries: Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control.

Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using either the touch-screen panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Initial Power On:

  1. Locate the main power button on the back of the heater (refer to Figure 2). Press it to turn the main power on.
  2. The unit will enter standby mode.

  • On/Off Button: Press to turn the heater on or off from standby mode.
  • Mode Selection Button: Cycles through the three operating modes:
    • Fan Only: Circulates air without heat.
    • 750W Heating: Low heat setting.
    • 1500W Heating: High heat setting.

  • Temperature Adjustment (+/- Buttons): Adjusts the desired temperature from 59°F to 95°F (15°C to 35°C) in heating modes. The heater will maintain the set temperature.
  • Timer Button: Sets the auto-off timer from 1 to 24 hours. Each press increases the timer by one hour.
  • Oscillation (Swing) Button: Activates or deactivates the 60° oscillation function, allowing the heater to rotate and distribute warmth across a wider area.

  • Display: Shows the current temperature setting, timer, and mode indicators.

Safety Features in Operation:

  • Overheat Protection: If the internal temperature exceeds a safe limit (e.g., 154°F), the heater will automatically shut off. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before attempting to restart.

  • Tip-Over Protection: The heater will automatically shut off if it is accidentally knocked over or tilted beyond a certain angle (e.g., 40°-60°). Place the heater upright on a stable surface to resume operation.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
    • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
    • The ventilation grill is removable for easier cleaning. Use a soft cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and lint from the air intake and exhaust areas.
    • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, polishes, or any chemical solutions.
    • Never immerse the heater in water or other liquids.
  • Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it thoroughly and store it in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your heater, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Ensure you are within the effective control distance (up to 20 ft) and pointing the remote towards the heater.
